Thanks Myrna & Annette for today's blog topic!
In my opinion people are way too PICKY! Granted, I understand having SOME standards, but for men your better off winning the lotto then finding someone who is 5'7, 130 lbs., big boobs, big butt, intelligent, gorgeous and super sweet with a personality to die for. Same for ladies... hardly anyone finds that tall, dark, sexy and super handsome man with a good job, car and home that can support you if he needed too and to top it off treats you like a queen. Soooo be careful who you give the cold shoulder to because that person could of been the best husband/wife you could ever dream of...and you missed out on the opportunity because he didn't fit your "perfect" description to a "T"!
As my wonderful husband says, "Not everyone is perfect, but if you can live with that persons imperfections then that person is perfect for YOU!"
On a totally opposite note...if you don't have much to offer someone...don't expect to date someone that looks like Megan Fox or Shemar Moore...find someone more on your level! It's like me trying to date Matthew Mcconaughey, what can I possibly offer that man that he can't get from someone who looks 20X better them me? Seriously! Not a damn thing...lol! Sometimes you need to know when a person is out of your league...and don't hate when they don't give you the time of day.
That's all for today!

First of all, my Wife has a whole hell of a lot to offer, even to Matthew Mcconaughey. PERIOD! That guy wouldn't know what to do with a Woman like Charlene... I should know, she's a hand full..**wink,wink**!
ReplyDeleteMy take on good always being last is simple...
Why settle for a less when you can have more.
Ah, but also remember more is not always better! Quality over quantity anyday of the week!!!

I think girls in this era, are really superficial and biased when it comes to men/boys. I've dated some interesting figures in my life yet they have at some point feeded my need as a woman; mentally and emotionally.
ReplyDeleteBut I can't speak on those girls who believe, that appearance is first and chivalry is second
It is ok to finish last sometimes, you get the best! Like I did :) Not many people out there have a good head on their shoulders and some will never learn and if you believe in yourself then you got it! Period.
ReplyDeleteA person can be everything you want physically, but if he cant make you laugh, hold conversation, or just plain doesnt have anything upstairs...then you just might as well as get yourself a poster and walk around introducing him as "your man/girl" You have to be happy with who you are first before you can seek happiness in/with others. Also dnt look for qualities in someone that you yourself cant offer! RandomLeenie said it perfectly "Sometimes you need to know when a person is out of your league...and don't hate when they don't give you the time of day."
